The Vasari Corridor is the elevated passage that Giorgio Vasari built in 1565: about 750 metres long, it connects the Uffizi to Palazzo Pitti passing above Ponte Vecchio. Closed in 2016 and fully restored, it can be visited during the day with a Uffizi + Corridor ticket.
From 3 July to 20 November 2026 the museum has added 21 evening openings, one every Friday. These are accompanied visits, with their own rules: we report them from the regulations for extraordinary openings.

With the evening ticket, do you also visit the Uffizi?
No. The ticket is only valid for the Corridor: to reach it, you pass through some rooms of the Gallery, but visiting any space is not allowed.
This is the main difference with the daytime ticket, which at €43 or €47 includes the Gallery and lets you enter 2 hours before the Corridor. In the evening you pay less, but the route is only the elevated one.
Even in the evening, the museum offers 'the accompaniment service and not the guided tour service'. Tour guides with a booking can explain after the safety instructions from the staff, with their own headsets. The group stays together and you cannot linger for long during the route.

Check dates for the Uffizi with the Vasari CorridorWhere is the meeting point and where do you exit?
The meeting point is at the Piazzale degli Uffizi entrance, next to the Loggia dei Lanzi; the exit is from the Boboli Gardens, directly in Piazza Pitti.
The meeting point is also stated on the ticket, along with the start time and your name. The evening regulations require you to present yourself at least 10 minutes before. At the entrance, staff check the ticket against a photo ID. Latecomers lose access because you cannot catch up with a group that has already left.
At the end, you exit from the Grotta Buontalenti, in the Boboli Gardens, and with an open-air stretch of about 100 metres you arrive in Piazza Pitti from the Rondò di Bacco gate. The route is one-way.

What can you bring in the evening?
Only the essentials: in the evening, cloakroom, audio guides and headsets are not active, and you cannot enter with bulky items.
The regulations for special openings are precise:
- no suitcases, trolleys, backpacks, large umbrellas or helmets; those who bring them do not enter and do not get a refund;
- small umbrellas are allowed, in a pocket or bag;
- photos only for personal use and without professional equipment; no videos;
- wheelchairs and walkers allowed up to 230 kg with the user and 120 cm in length; the museum lends courtesy ones, free and without booking, subject to availability.
If the lift does not work and a person with reduced mobility cannot access, the museum refunds the ticket.
And if you want the Corridor together with the Gallery?
During the day, from Tuesday to Sunday: the Uffizi plus Corridor ticket costs €43 or €47, with departures from 10:15 to 16:45.
During the day you enter the Uffizi 2 hours before the Corridor; the museum considers 2 hours the «minimum time expected for visiting the Gallery» and estimates at least 45 minutes from the entrance to room D19, the meeting point on the first floor. The Corridor visit lasts about 45 minutes. The rest is in the Vasari Corridor guide.
On GetYourGuide, the small-group tour with the Corridor includes one and a half hours of guided tour of the Uffizi, for a maximum of 9 people. In the option with the Corridor, the listing indicates entry about 2 hours after the start of the tour, to be done on your own: the guided tour inside the Corridor is not included. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

One and a half hours with a guide for up to 9 people and, in the option, the Corridor to walk alone.
