Uffizi and Accademia in Groups of up to 15

The experience

In the 4-hour version the day follows a precise order. It starts at the Accademia, where the guide tells the story of Michelangelo's David; then it goes to Piazza del Duomo, to see the facade and Brunelleschi's dome from the outside, and to Piazza della Signoria; it ends with the guided tour inside the Uffizi. The listing includes timed tickets for both galleries, the guide and radios with headsets. It starts from $54 per person (GetYourGuide, October 2026), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Beware of the options: the duration ranges from 1 to 4 hours and the meeting point changes with the one you choose. The description says that only some options include the Duomo and Botticelli's Birth of Venus, so before paying check that your option really includes the Uffizi. The official Uffizi ticket is named and costs €25 if you buy it on the day, €29 if you buy it in advance; they sell it on tickets.uffizi.it, at the call centre and at the ticket office under the loggia of Piazzale degli Uffizi. We do not report the Accademia price: its official page is not among our sources.

Two practical notes. When booking, you need the names of all participants as on their passport or ID card. And on the first Sunday of the month, entry is free but not bookable: the listing warns that entry is not guaranteed on that day, and the museum confirms that it cannot be booked. Groups, according to the listing, are from 10 to 15 people.

What travellers say

★★★★★

We were a nice group of three and Valentina showed us all the important paintings in the Uffizi Gallery and, of course, Michelangelo's David statue. She told us many stories about the paintings and their authors, and they were fascinating. [...] After the tour we had time to explore the Gallery on our own. I can only recommend it.

Tips before booking

  • Before paying, read what the option includes: not all include the Uffizi and the Duomo.
  • Check the meeting point in the confirmation: it changes with the chosen option.
  • Avoid the first Sunday of the month if you want certainty of entry: that day entry is free, cannot be booked and the listing does not guarantee it. Details are on the Domenica al Museo page.
  • Bring comfortable shoes and an ID for each person, including children: the listing asks for them.
  • No suitcases or large bags: the listing does not allow them.
